Upcoming Events--What's Ahead

Jireh House is finalizing plans with the San Antonio Housing Authority to quadruple its operating space and expand its services. In addition to providing short-term food and clothing assistance to Cassiano Homes residents, Jireh House intends to provide a greater variety of services and opportunities for education to help residents obtain employment and greater self-sufficiency. In the near future, we also hope to partner with several existing federal and state programs, by offering:

A Summer Food Service Program. Occupying a new facility will allow Jireh House to become a feeding site for this valuable program, which provides nutritious meals for children during summer months.
CHIP Children's Medicaid Registration. With added space, Jireh House will serve the residents' needs by providing instruction on CHIP registration, which provides health insurance coverage for a population not otherwise covered.
Texas Low-Income Energy Assistance. Jireh House will help qualifying residents connect with providers of energy services.
